2. PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS Permission

This permission is used strictly for:

• Monitoring app usage time to enforce time-based restrictions
• Providing accurate usage statistics for your blocked apps

Privacy Guarantees:

• No personal data collection: Only tracks which apps are used and for how long
• Local processing only: All usage data remains on your device
• No cross-app tracking: Cannot see what you do within any app
• No network transmission: Usage statistics never leave your device

3. Accessibility Service Usage

The App requires Accessibility Service permission solely for these technical functions:

• Detect when apps are launched (app identification only)
• Prevent usage of blocked apps when they are opened

Important Limitations:

• No content access: Cannot and does not read messages, emails, or any in-app content
• No tracking: Never records keystrokes, screenshots, or browsing activity
• No data collection: Does not gather usage statistics or personal information
• No network access: All processing occurs 100% on-device

4. BILLING Permission

The com.android.vending.BILLING permission is used exclusively for:

• Processing in-app purchases and subscriptions through Google Play's secure billing system
• Verifying purchase status to unlock premium features

Privacy Assurance:

• No payment details access: All transactions are processed by Google Play - we never see or store your payment information
• Minimal data: Only receives purchase confirmation tokens from Google
• Local validation: Purchase verification occurs on-device when possible
• No personal data linkage: Purchase records aren't associated with identifiable information

5. SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW Permission

This permission is used exclusively for:

• Displaying the blocking interface when restricted apps are launched

Security Assurance: The overlay is used only to enforce app restrictions and cannot interact with other apps or extract any information.

6. Data Storage and Retention

The App maintains strict data handling practices:

• Storage method: Android's encrypted local storage
• Data types stored:
  • Your blocklist (app package names only)
  • Your blocking schedules and preferences
• Automatic deletion: All data is permanently erased upon uninstallation
• No backups: Never synced to cloud services (Google Drive, iCloud, etc.)
• No data transfer: Information never leaves your device

7. Security Measures

We implement multiple protection layers:

• Android's built-in sandbox security for all stored data
• No internet permission in manifest (technical enforcement)
• Accessibility Service restricted to package name detection only
• Regular security audits of all permission usage

8. Children's Privacy

The App complies with COPPA regulations:

• Not designed for children under 18
• No age-based data collection differences
• Parental control features contain no data gathering
